Best Way to Lose Belly Fat - The 3 Stage Process

Importance of All Three Components

These components are intimately interconnected in the same way that the abdominal muscles are connected to rest of the body. On one hand, when you engage in full body exercises, you are actually reducing body fat and calories in all areas. Exercise is the best way to lose belly fat and to burn calories effectively and efficiently instead of the infomercials hawking contraptions promising to replace true-blue belly fat exercise. Think of the vibrating belt.

On the other hand, you have to eat the right kinds of food in the right amounts and at the right times. Keep in mind that your tissues, bones and muscles require food to supply energy for daily activities including exercise sessions, to nourish them with the necessary nutrients and to help in the repair of the body from injuries, illnesses and traumas.

A sensible lifestyle is necessary to tie the two parts together into one solid whole. Think of it this way: If you are still smoking cigarettes like a chimney and drinking alcohol like water, then even the best way to lose belly fat - exercise, that is - will be in vain. Your body will not be sufficiently healthy to withstand the demands of exercise, pure and simple.

So, if you are on a quest of reducing body fat especially around the stomach area, look at your diet and lifestyle habits first. You will soon realize that the best belly fat exercise is only as good as the food you eat and the things that you do in relation to the rest of your body.

Explanation of the Three Components

Let's start with exercise, which we have explained as the best way to lose belly fat. We strongly recommend full body exercises instead of the abs-specific exercise for many reasons. While the latter exercises only focus on the abdominals, the former exercises lead to faster metabolism, better hormonal response and superior burning of fats all over the body while still indirectly working on the abdominal muscles.

With full body exercises, you combine the benefits of a belly fat exercise with the advantages of an exercise designed toward reducing body fat. Of course, you can always engage in abs-specific exercises like crunches and sit-ups but for a shorter time, say, just 10 minutes in a 60-minute workout. You can then focus the 50 minutes on full body exercises like front squats, mountain climbers and renegade dumbbell rows, to name a few.

As for diet, we recommend choosing fresh fruits and vegetables, whole organic foods, nuts, seeds and fish oils, to name a few components of a healthy diet. Basically, go for high fiber, high protein and high nutrient foods.

Again, even the best way to lose belly fat will be of no use if and when you continue with your unhealthy lifestyle. You can spend hours on a belly fat exercise in the hopes of reducing body fat but if you are always lacking in sleep, it will be all for naught.

Although I have mentioned Three there are still a few more components that will propel you abdominal exercise routine to the next level, check out my site to learn more on how to lose belly fat fast and naturally with a great action plan

The Two Yummier Low Carb Diets

It is not as harder to search for a low carb diet as it may appear to be difficult in the start. With the advancement in technology almost everything is available on the internet. There are various accessible sites regarding the food recipes. One can easily explore the low carb diet recipes from the existing sources over the internet.

Pineapple Pork Stir Fry

There are some appealing low carb diet recipes like, take an example of pineapple pork stir-fry. Its ingredients include 1 lb. pork tenderloin, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 red pepper cut into strips, 1/2 cup white wine, 1 teaspoon ginger, 1 tablespoon green chilies, 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, 8 oz. bamboo shoots and 1/2 cup pineapple syrup.

The recipe preparation is quite simple. It requires fine slicing of the pork tenderloin. Each slice is then chopped to make it flat. Fry the slices in oil for sometime until cooked up. Take out the slices from frying pan and cook the strips of red pepper in some oil until soften but they should remain crunchy. Put the stove to medium heat. Now transfer other items too into the pan and cook for a few minutes. Pour the sauce over the pork and serve hot.

Beef Roll Ups

We can also take the example of beef rolls ups as a good low carb diet recipe. Its recipe requires 2 lbs. beef round, 1/2 cup fresh basil minced, 2 oz. roasted red peppers, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 6 slices prosciutto, 2 cloves garlic, 1/4 cup onion sliced and 2 cups of tomato sauce.

Cut the beef into slices. Pound them with the help of a heavy chopper to make the slices fine and flatten. Spread some salt and pepper on the slices and put the roasted red peppers over them. Add a layer of prosciutto and Parmesan cheese over every slice. Top up with fresh basil minced and roll up tightly. You can tie up with string for safety packing. Roast the garlic and onion in some oil until brown. Also fry the beef rolls. On being cooked transfer these ingredients to a baking dish and pour the tomato sauce. Preheat the oven to 300 F and bake the rolls for approximately one and half hours.

The above mentioned two recipes are the examples to give you an idea of low carb diet recipes. You can also consult with your family for some healthy tips. Your friends' circle may also suggest you some ideas. Besides adapting such diet plans one has to do suitable exercise for better circumstances. Walk is one of the best exercises. One can also go for jogging. Sit-ups or push-ups are some other options to get energetic and gain weight loss results.

Lose Fat Off Your Belly Fast - 2 Killer Tips For Getting a Flatter Stomach Lightning Fast!

Do you want to easily lose fat off your belly fast and consistently? Read on to discover 2 extremely effective tips that helped me drop a ton of weight and remove stubborn fat off my stomach lightning fast and permanently!

You see, I struggled greatly with trying to get myself in shape and improve my overall health. I tried out all sorts of fad diets ranging from your low carb to your starve yourself or even popping diet pills. It seemed as if the more I tried those types of diets, the more harder it was for me to get in shape! You know what? Come to find out, those fad diets and diet pills that I was taking was exactly what was causing me setbacks!

The problem with those unnatural programs is very simple... the body does not respond well to them. The most common consequence with getting on those fad diets is a reduction in your metabolism (which explains why I stopped losing weight and burning fat), loss of energy, constipation, and so much more!

Once I stopped screwing around with unnatural methods and started looking for something that was not only natural, but also worked extremely fast, was when I came across this powerful dieting system. This program changed my body and my life, and here's why...

It taught me that no matter how you look at it, in order to lose fat off your belly and the rest of your body for that matter, it all comes down to the following 2 things: Don't get full and don't starve. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but let me explain:

Don't get full - What this means is that you should never eat too much per meal until you are overly satisfied (think Thanksgiving dinner for example). This will end up reducing your metabolism and causing your body to store excess calories... as fat.

Don't starve - This means that you should never severely reduce calories or flat out starve yourself in an attempt to get in shape. What needs to be done instead is for you to firstly make sure you are eating more frequently through out the day (4 meals), and you should not lower your calories too much for the whole day.

So you see, if you combine the two, this means that you should get on a diet program that is all about eating several lower calorie meals daily instead of either starving yourself or eating too many calories at once. This method along with shifting calories from the meals I ate, drinking plenty of water, drinking green tea, getting plenty of sleep, and doing exercise at least 3 times a week enabled me to drop 52 pounds and get a flat belly in 8 weeks... permanently!

Want to Melt Away Fat FAST and lose up to 25 lbs. IN 1 MONTH? Well, I highly recommend the "calorie shifting diet" from Fat Loss 4 Idiots.

I lost an amazing 50 lbs. of fat total in 8 weeks using this popular online diet plan... and it all stayed off FOR GOOD! This diet works so well because it is based on skyrocketing your metabolism by eating REAL foods. NO starvation, NO cravings, NO diet pills... just 100% natural and very EASY dieting!

Men Health Issue Tips And Advice

When it comes to a men health issue, if you have a question about a particular ailment or situation you can easily look it up online to find out more information. There are a ton of different websites that you can go to that will give you a wealth of knowledge about many different subjects. Instead of paying to go see a doctor, you can do an internet search and get a comprehensive description of the symptoms, treatments and cures. You can also find out how to avoid certain diseases and what to do if you think you have one.

Besides diseases and other illnesses, there are different forums you can visit to learn about various men health issue. For example, one issue facing men today is how to get (and stay) fit and trim. Sure, you can go running for a couple of miles each day, but you also need to combine that with strength training. Not sure which exercises to do to get your triceps bulging? You can consult a men's health magazine or hop online and do another search. You can also discover the various benefits to staying fat-free, including lower risk of heart attack and stroke.

Besides subjects like heart attacks and strokes that can cross gender lines and affect almost anyone, you should also be aware of the plethora of ailments that only men can suffer from. Prostate cancer, for example, is a huge men health issue. It is important that you get checked for prostate cancer every year, especially if you're over a certain age. Testicular cancer is another issue that can be quite serious if left unchecked. When the cancers spread, it can be more difficult to treat and there are more complications associated with them. These days, it's imperative that you stay on top and in charge of your health!

Testicular Cancer Forums - A Great Resource For Testicular Cancer Answers And Support

If you're a man who has been diagnosed with testicular cancer and are looking for somebody to connect with, testicular cancer forums might be the best place to turn. If you're unfamiliar with what forums are, allow me to explain. Online forums are places where people can go to talk about specific topics. They're like written forms of conversation, and any member (sometimes even people who aren't members) can start topics or comment on ones that have already been started. If you have questions, you can start a new topic (called a thread) and write them all out. Depending on how popular the forum is, you can have several answers almost immediately.

Testicular cancer forums can be great for men who don't know anyone who has had to deal with testicular cancer. These forums can be like instant support groups, with members writing in words of encouragement, suggestions or even promises for prayer support. Additionally, you can be as anonymous as you'd like on these forums. This means that if your family doesn't know that you've been diagnosed or are concerned about possibly having testicular cancer, you can talk online in the forums about it without having to worry about being discovered.

Unfortunately, the benefit of anonymity on testicular cancer forums (and online forums in general) is also a huge drawback. You can never really be sure of who you're talking to. A person may give medical advice and claim to be a doctor, but there's really no way for you to verify it before deciding whether or not to follow the advice. Still, as long as you're careful and are aware of what you may be dealing with, there's no reason not to frequent the forums. They can be incredibly therapeutic, and I highly recommend them.

Symptoms For Testicular Cancer - Little Known Facts Every Man Should Know

When guys realize that their lifetime odds of getting diagnosed with it are 1 in 250, many men will go looking for the symptoms for testicular cancer. There are many of them to be aware of, but if you know exactly what to look for you have a better chance of catching testicular cancer in its early stages. If caught before it has spread to other organs, testicular cancer victims have a survival rate of 90 percent. When caught in the very first stage of existence, testicular cancer kills only 5 percent. Still, it is a very serious condition that deserves your very serious attention.

There are way too many symptoms for testicular cancer to list here, but I will briefly go over some of the most common ones that are easier to notice. Many people who get diagnosed with testicular cancer notice a dull pain or ache in their abdomen or groin. Also, an unusually enlarged or shrunk testicle is something to take notice of. If there is blood in your semen, sex is painful or if you have a sudden loss of sexual appetite altogether, you should be concerned. If you experience any of these symptoms, please see your doctor as soon as possible to get checked out.

Testicular cancer is most commonly found in Caucasian men aged 15 to 40, although it has been found in infants and the elderly as well. While talking to your doctor about symptoms of testicular cancer may be an awkward conversation to have, it can also be a lifesaving one. Your health is too precious to put at risk because you're afraid of getting embarrassed or you don't like going to the doctor. Physicians get asked weird questions all of the time and have seen just about everything. Talk to your doctor, you're worth it.

Health Of Men: Important Concerns Related To The Health Of Men In Your Family

When it comes to the health of men, you really can't be too careful. Katie Couric lost her husband to colon cancer, and has been fighting to raise awareness ever since. As a result, more and more men are starting to ask their doctors about getting checked for the ailment. Because more and more frequently the cancer is getting caught in its early stages, more lives are being saved. Also, the sooner you catch cancer, the easier and less expensive the treatments seem to be. While colon cancer can cross gender lines and affect women as well as men, testicular cancer and prostate cancer are exclusive to guys.

Other health of men concerns include erectile dysfunction. Such a problem has the potential to put a huge strain on a relationship, and many men choose to treat erectile dysfunction with pharmaceutical drugs. While these can be very effective and provide immediate relief from the disorder, there are other alternatives available. For example, some men choose to treat it with diet and exercise. While this may take quite a bit longer than popping a blue pill does, it provides more long term relief. Also, depending on whether or not you have health insurance, diet and exercise may be a more affordable option.

Besides just men, entire families are concerned with the health of men. For example, if a man is working full time and is the primary breadwinner in a family, if he falls ill and can no longer do his job the whole family suffers. The woman of the house may have to pick up a job (or even a second job) to make ends meet. The best thing to do if you're a man and worried about your health is to get regular check ups. Visiting your doctor regularly can help you to stay healthy much longer than if you don't.

Mens Healths - Important Reasons Why Mens Health Should Be Taken Seriously

Mens health is an important issue facing everyone today, not just men. It becomes increasingly important for men to take an active role in their health as they age, as the older your are the more illness prone you become. The first step is to know that you're at risk, that way you know what to look for. From heart disease and stroke to cancer, some things are unavoidable no matter what you try to do to avoid them. Still, there are certain steps you can take to minimize your risk. Also, there are things you can do to catch potentially deadly illnesses (for example, prostate cancer) before they have a chance to develop into something that can't be treated.

The first step, as any doctor will tell you, is to exercise and eat a proper diet. Deep fried chicken wings and nachos are not items that a well balanced diet consists of, so try to eat more salads and lean protein. There are little substitutions you can make that can drastically improve mens health. The next time you go to the grocery store, instead of buying ground meat that is 15 percent fat choose a leaner version. It usually doesn't cost much more than an extra dollar or so per pound and it's well worth the health benefit. Also, instead of buying chicken that has the skin on it, choose the boneless, skinless kind. It's easier to cook and eat, plus you avoid a ton of extra calories and fat grams.

Obviously, exercising regularly is going to have a huge impact on mens health. Regular check ups by a doctor are also really important, as that's how you get screened for a lot of potential health problems. Additionally, if you currently smoke or use smokeless tobacco, you should definitely look into quitting. There are all kinds of programs that can help you kick the habit, including online and in person support groups and nicotine chewing gum and patches.

Mens Crisis: Tips For Handling A Mens Crisis The Healthy Way

A lot is left unsaid when it comes to mens crisis. There are unspoken guy rules that seem to prohibit one from talking to another about his feelings, often resulting in a lot of bottled up feelings that are left waiting to explode. Add that to the pressures that society places on men and you're left with a recipe for trouble. Sometimes men take out their frustrations on their wifes or partners in a physically abusive way, other times children, coworkers or friends bear the brunt of misplaced aggressions. This doesn't need to happen, and there are many things that can be done to help men who are in trouble.

There are plenty of mens crisis forums on the internet, which can provide a man with an outlet for his pent up feelings. Forums are particularly great because they allow a man to talk about his feelings with someone anonymously. If you don't know who you're talking to and they don't know who you are either, you tend to feel safer in talking about things that you would otherwise prefer to keep to yourself. Also, because it's all done online, a guy is able to talk about his feelings without actually having to vocalize it. Sometimes just writing it all out, even if you don't actually post your final product on the forum, can make a world of difference.

In addition to mens crisis forums online, guys can also rely on telephone hot lines. They're free and are great for people who aren't very skilled at navigating the net. Again, your confidentiality is assured and you can be as anonymous as you like. Unlike the online forums, these hot lines are staffed with trained professionals who are trained to help a man in crisis. If you are in crisis and you don't know where to turn, you can rest assured that there are options for you.

Men Health Diet Tips

When it comes to a men health diet, it's important that you know exactly what you're ingesting. While deep fried chicken fingers have all of the protein you'd expect to get out of boneless, skinless chicken breast, because it's covered in batter and deep fried it isn't a healthy choice. If you love chicken wings, it's also important to know that in many cases they aren't baked, they're deep fried. While they don't have the obnoxious breading that chicken fingers tend to have, they aren't much healthier. Instead of ordering in a dozen buffalo wings from your favorite pizza place, buy your own frozen wings at the grocery store, cover them in your favorite sauce and bake them. By baking instead of deep frying, you're saving yourself a ton of added fat and calories.

Another men health diet tip is to replace regular head lettuce salads with mixed spring greens or spinach. While head lettuce has almost no nutritional value, spinach and mixed greens are super foods that are packed with all the vitamins you could ever hope for in a tasty salad base. When you top it off with fresh sliced vegetables, you've got yourself a healthy meal that tastes great. It's important to remember that when it comes to salads, the base isn't just a vehicle for the dressing. Choose vinaigrettes over creamy dressings, and when possible try those salad sprays that have only a couple of calories per serving.

When you're on a men health diet, it doesn't need to be a terrible experience. Healthy foods don't have to taste bland and horrible, you just need to know which tasty foods are good for you to eat. Nowadays there are plenty of sweets that can satisfy your cravings without pushing you over your daily caloric limits. Choose items with reduced sugar and fat, and always remember to eat in moderation.

Health Fitness Guide – Thoughts, The Foundation For All Health And Fitness Achievement

"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve" - W. Clement Stone

Like any learned skill, there are certain basics that must be mastered first. The very bedrock upon which all health and fitness achievement rests are thoughts. Everything man-made in the world or any action you've taken in the past all started with a thought. There is not one man-made object or goal that didn't start as a thought in someone's head that was then made into reality. Your toaster, your TV, your automobile, your desire for better health.

A single thought ultimately transformed into physical reality.

In order to achieve any health or fitness goal you must start with this basic concept; thoughts are things. Thoughts are the foundation upon which you build the framework for attainment of your goal. Every thought has a physical manifestation in our bodies; every thought produces physical substances called neuro-transmitting enzymes that have instant effects on how we feel and who we are at the cellular level.

Don't believe me? Think of biting into a big, juicy lemon or think about fingernails slowly running down a chalk board and tell me you didn't have an immediate, physical response.

Or how about a thought that changed the world?

Every day, thousands of times a day, all over the world people fly from destination to destination. It's amazing that a person can step into a device that lifts them off the ground and flies through the air at great speed sometimes over great distances safely carrying them to their destination in a matter of minutes or hours! Only a bit over a hundred years ago that would have been considered impossible or a miracle. Yet it happens every day today and it started with a thought in someone's head that man could fly. On December 17th, 1903 the thought that man had had for generations to fly, became reality.

That is the power of thoughts!

If you can have that kind of immediate response from such a simple thought, just imagine what you can accomplish with a focused, burning desire backed by faith and persistence!

Life isn't fair or normal, there's just life. But that should be a comforting thought. If life were fair all things would be equal and all people would be equal. The logical conclusion is that there could be no social movement up or down, no bettering of yourself nor worsening, no getting healthier, just stagnation. Because life isn't fair it means you have the ability to control whether you improve your life or make it worse but at least you have the ability to make change.

What about external influences which you have no control over? Say your significant other is killed in a car accident or you become paraplegic in a skiing accident. The list could go on and on. But there is one thing you have total control over.

Viktor E. Frankl, a concentration camp survivor, put it best in his book "Man's Search for Meaning,"

"The one thing you can't take away from me is the way I choose to respond to what you do to me. The last of one's freedoms is to choose ones attitudes in any given circumstance."

The only absolute freedom you have is choosing how you react to life. And how you choose starts with a thought.

Who you are right now is the sum total of what you've thought about up to this moment. If you're not satisfied with who you are right now, the good news is who you will be from now on is entirely up to you. Change your thoughts and you can start changing yourself. If you want to lose weight or be more fit, it all starts with a thought.

For example, there are plenty of gyms in cities across America. If you're not a fan of getting all sweaty and gross in front of strangers, you can always order your own home gym or get a treadmill. Nowadays, you can even watch television programs and get fit! There are entire channels devoted only to giving you a trim figure.

Testicular Cancer Symptoms - What To Look Out For

Considering that 1 in 250 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer at one point or another, knowing which testicular cancer symptoms to look for can be a life saving bit of knowledge. When you think about it, the statistics are staggering. Not only is testicular cancer fairly common, but it can affect any age group. While you're most likely to be diagnosed with testicular cancer while you're in the 15 to 40 age bracket, everyone from infants to the elderly are at risk. On the bright side, testicular cancer is one of the less deadly forms of the ailment. The mortality rate for testicular cancer as a whole is only around 10 percent, and when it is caught in the earliest stage that number drops to approximately 5 percent.

Still, many people have died from it and it doesn't matter how healthy you are. Take, for instance, Lance Armstrong. The man was a living legend and had won the Tour De France several times when he was diagnosed at the peak of his career. While he ended up living through it, testicular cancer was almost the end of this American Hero. As a result, a huge movement started with people buying and wearing yellow rubber LiveStrong wrist bands. Aimed at raising awareness, the little yellow bands did their job. All that, and many people still don't know many of the testicular cancer symptoms.

If you're unfamiliar with testicular cancer symptoms, please hop online and look them up. There are several of them, many of which are relatively obvious. Others, however, might not send up as many red flags. For example, did you know that dull pain in your lower abdomen is a symptom of testicular cancer? I certainly didn't, until I did my homework. I suggest you do some of your own, it could just save your life one day.

Symptoms Of Testicular Cancer - What Should Men Watch For?

If you're a guy, particularly if you're in the 15 to 40 age range, you should know what the symptoms of testicular cancer are. Over the course of your lifetime, you've got a 1 in 250 chance of getting diagnosed with testicular cancer. While that may not sound like terrible odds, when you take into consideration how the cancer will progress if left undiagnosed and untreated, you've got too much to lose not to be aware of what to look for. Nobody is immune from testicular cancer, as Lance Armstrong showed the world. Tom Green made a documentary to raise awareness, as he ended up losing a testicle to the potentially deadly condition.

There are several symptoms of testicular cancer that you may have if you've got it, including loss of sexual appetite, blood in semen and a significant increase or decrease in the size of one of the testis. If you notice any of these symptoms, it's absolutely imperative that you see your doctor as soon as possible. Testicular cancer is one of the least deadly, killing roughly 10 percent of those diagnosed. If caught in stage 1, only 5 percent of people diagnosed will die. The earlier that testicular cancer is caught, the better for the person affected.

Other symptoms of testicular cancer include pain and tenderness in the testicles, a dull ache in the groin or abdomen and a lump or hardening of one of the testicles. Treating the cancer can be a difficult thing for the patient to go through, sometimes chemotherapy or removal of the testicle is the only way to rid the body of the cancer. Also, if you've already had and beaten testicular cancer, you aren't out of the woods. It has been known to come back, even if one of the testicles has been amputated.

Cholesterol. . . Not Bad After All

Do you know that total amount fat and cholesterol in the diet whether high or low, has no real link to heart diseases as widely believed? Rather it is the type of fat in diet that matters.

There are bad fats that increase risk to certain diseases and good fats that lower this risk. Cholesterol in food is not exactly a health problem. Infact dietary cholesterol is not exactly linked to heart disease.

Heart disease may be caused by high blood cholesterol i.e. the cholesterol circulating in your blood. Surprisingly, amount of diet cholesterol is not linked to blood cholesterol levels. The biggest influence on blood cholesterol level is the mix of types of fats in the diet. That is the mix of saturated, unsaturated and trans fats.

Cholesterol is a wax like substance made by the liver. It falls in the family of nutrients called lipids. It is used to construct and in the functioning of cell membranes and other organelles. Once synthesized by the liver, it is linked to proteins called lipoproteins which are then released into the blood stream to supply all the body cells with cholesterol.

Blood Cholesterol:

Too much cholesterol in the blood can result to it building inside arteries. These deposits are called plaque. They can actually narrow arteries enough to slow or block blood flow. This condition is called atherosclerosis. This unfortunately occurs in arteries close to the heart. Plaque at times raptures causing blood clots that can lead to a heart attack, stroke or sudden death.

The good news is that cholesterol build up can be slowed, stopped and even possibly reversed.

In the cholesterol transport in blood, low density lipoproteins i.e. LDL carry cholesterol from liver into the blood to supply the body so when LDL is in excess, it can be deposited on arteries. Hence LDL cholesterol is called bad cholesterol.

On the other hand high density lipoproteins i.e. HDL carry cholesterol from the blood back to the liver which processes cholesterol for elimination from the body. So, high HDL reduces the chance of excess cholesterol in the blood being deposited on arteries.
Therefore HDL is called the good cholesterol.

This then means a higher level LDL and lower levels of HDL shows a high risk of heart disease. An important determinant of blood cholesterol is specific fats in diet. Research shows that there are some types of fats that are clearly good for blood cholesterol and others that are bad. Though dietary cholesterol does not affect, blood cholesterol as badly as it is widely believed.

Fat And Cholesterol

For example, mono-saturated fats e.g. olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, cashew nuts, almond, peanuts and generally most nuts and avocados. All these lower the LDL and raise the HDL meaning they are good sources of fat.

Poly unsaturated fats e.g. corn, safflower, cotton seed oil, fish. These lower LDL and also raise HDL. These are also excellent sources of fat.

Saturated fat e.g. found in whole milk, butter, cheese, ice-cream, red meat, chocolate, coconut, coconut milk and coconut oil all raise both LDL and HDL. Not really good sources as they raise both the good and bad cholesterol.

Trans-Fats which consist of mainly margarines, vegetable shortenings, partially hydrogenated vegetable oil, deep fried chips, many fast foods, as well as most commercially baked foods. All these raise LDL meaning it is the worst source of fats. And funnily probably the most consumed.

Formally, eggs demonized for high cholesterol level are now proving scientifically that they are not directly linked to increase in heart disease in healthy individuals. Its moderate use as food is encouraged. It further contains extra nutrients e.g. proteins, vitamin B12 and vitamin D.

But diabetic and high cholesterol individuals should proceed with caution. Diabetics can have 2 - 3 eggs a week, while high cholesterol individuals should avoid the egg yolk due to its high cholesterol.

The poorer sources of fat i.e. saturated fats are mainly found in animal based foods. So it is advisable to eat the leanest form of beef more often than the fatty cuts. Trans fats are produced by heating liquid vegetable oil in pressure of hydrogen i.e. hydrogenation. The more hydrogenated the harder it is at room temperature. These trans-fats are used in many snacks, processed foods.

The better sources of fat and consequently those that lower blood cholesterol are mostly plant based.

So, what really matters more in your diet or nutrition is not quantity of fat but rather the type. Infact, there is evidence that high intake of unsaturated fats lower risk of heart attack. Fish an important source of the poly-saturated fat known as omega-3 has received much attention in lowering risk of heart disease.

This is so much so that the American Heart Association currently recommends that everyone should eat at least two servings of fish a week. Mono-saturated fats have also been related to reduced cancer.

There is also a misconception that the more fat you eat the more weight you gain, so completely cut down on fat. As much as the first statement is true to some extent, the most prudent thing to do to cut weight is take in fewer calories than you use in a day. This you do by reducing your daily portion without eliminating any nutrient and increasing your exercising.

But for those of you who have tried these two, you now know diets and exercises alone are not enough for permanent weight loss. Indeed they are only two of the Top 4 Reasons you fail in losing weight.

Muscle Health - Valuable Tips And Advice For Building Muscle Health

When it comes to muscle health, one of the best things you can do to achieve and maintain it is work out. When you use your muscles on a regular basis, they won't atrophy and weaken. Instead, you'll be strong, fit and able to do the things that you love. Conversely, when you sit on the couch all day and don't get the exercise your body needs, you'll be left feeling weak and lifeless. Eventually, your muscles will shrink and wither away, leaving you without any muscle definition or energy. It's amazing how fast your muscles can shrink when you don't use them, often times it only takes a week or so of inactivity for there to be significant atrophy.

Exercise does wonders for your body, besides just improving your muscle health. It's the best way to go about losing weight if you have a few extra pounds you'd like to shed. Also, it increases your metabolism so that your body will be able to process the foods you eat faster and more efficiently. The best thing to do to increase energy levels is to exercise. Many times if you're feeling low or inactive, if you go for a quick jog or hit the gym for awhile you'll experience a noticeable difference in your energy.

Another important component for good muscle health is a proper diet. I can't stress enough how imperative it is that you eat right if you want to have a good body. If all you're doing is eating fats and carbohydrates, there's nothing to feed your muscles. Lean protein is the best thing to eat if you're looking to improve your muscle health. Boneless, skinless chicken breast is an excellent entree choice as well as most fish. With proper diet, exercise and attitude there's no limits to how tight and healthy your body can get!
